About Us
We have a lovely group of friends who are great cooks. We are always asking each other for the ‘recipe for the dish you made the other day’. Sometimes we have come home in the evening and before cooking dinner, grabbed a pencil and a notepad and called to ask, for ‘that recipe’. Some of these recipes have traveled from distant lands, some given to us by our mothers, some learnt from other friends, aunts, uncles or other relatives, most of the recipes come from the households we grew up in. Some of us have taken to labeling them as ‘R’s potatoes’ or ‘V’s lemon rice’, evoking not just the food but the person. Two of us decided that it would be fun to have a website, so we could begin collecting recipes as if they were little treasures.
